the soldier is dead the dead can speak the soldier

says witch says where’s the book says bury him

says burned says betrayed the coven

says the guardian says buried with you says she’s not in her grave

says the lantern is says steal it

says the doll says came to life says in silence

says circling in a line says this plant says this blood

says hare in the grass says hair in the mouth

says beneath the surface of the lake

says has risen says witness says strong enough

a question like a weapon he’s aiming at you
