The consideration’s long

awful gods switching lanes

without signaling

& the stench of

the unforgivable

asks us to slow down

& rethink to

blockade it.

What I said wasn’t

enough. What I was

saying lacked the force

of the imagination but

it had a little dactylic

music & it brought me back

to a set of unkempt selves I

sort of console now & again

& again.
